The average time it takes to receive your birds when we import them directly from The Netherlands is +65 days from beginning to end. The USA and Dutch Government have a bilateral agreement established which only requires the birds to be in Holland for 30 days prior to us bringing them over to the USA for import quarantine.

The importation of your birds through our services, is conditional upon your completion of this form and full acceptance to both ATF'S terms and conditions of service, and also Avian Export Services terms and conditions of service. This form also applies to approved exporters located outside of the USA, that are organizing or transporting birds to us, on others behalf. This form is a requirement for all importing services offered. By completing this form you certify that the information presented is true and correct to the best of your knowledge and understanding.

All reservations are honored on a first come first serve basis.

This form is for our upcoming (Group 1) collection which will take place in Spring 2026.

PLEASE NOTE:

ATF can now arrange pickup of your birds in neighboring countries, so long as they are within +8 hours round trip driving distance of their quarantine (4 hrs one way). You will be provided a list of preferred couriers that can assist with pickup and delivery of birds to ATF, if birds are located outside this +8 hour driving distance. This list is made available after you submit your reservation form to us.

WE MUST RECEIVE ALL RESERVATIONS BY THE MARCH 1ST DEADLINE! ALL BIRDS MUST BE DELIVERED BY MARCH 13TH TO ATF.

After you submit your form, the screen will take you to a thank you page, confirming receipt of your reservation. You will also receive an automated email response and confirmation, so long as it doesn't land in your spam folder.

Avian Export Services adheres to a strict policy of confidentiality with its clients. We do not share, or discuss any matters, or details, ownership of birds, etc. regarding other individuals birds to other parties that may also have birds in our same quarantine groups. You are only notified of your own personal birds status, nobody else's.

Since this is an automated process, please check your email folders, as sometimes these confirmations do not get delivered to email inboxes 100% of the time. You'll want to whitelist our email address, so it doesn't get flagged as spam. This will help with the notification delivery on your receiving side of the process.

Important Details: The USDA import regulations and user fees changed in February 2025. For all the work involved including supervised pre export EU quarantine/export fees/booking and reservations for the USA/ and importation/30 days mandatory federal import quarantine/ PMV and AI testing in the USA will be $525 USD per bird. Domestic related shipping fees are additional. Birds that must be sent to Canada or Mexico after USA import quarantine is finished will be assessed additional delivery fees. If there are any issues with testing this amount could be more due to extended days in quarantine which are an additional $9.25 per bird per day for birds that must stay beyond 30 days mandatory import quarantine. Late fees will also apply based on the terms and conditions set forth. Incidentals are always billed at the end of the quarantine process. Please be aware that your birds may require special treatment as advised by the USDA while they are in quarantine as part of federal regulatory procedures that are put in place for the safety and well being of your birds. See Title 9 Code Part 93.106(a). The quarantine facility is not a clinic and does not provide therapeutic care for birds. We are strictly prohibited from soliciting or rendering medical advice or care for your birds. This expertise must be done strictly through an accredited Avian Veterinarian. On rare occasions your birds may require an accredited Avian Veterinarian to visit the quarantine facility and administer additional care and treatment to your bird. We will always contact you to authorize said treatment before any additional costs are billed separately to you for those necessary treatments. ALL the birds you are having us import to the USA must be vaccinated for PMV and Salmonella at least 2x prior to the birds being delivered to ATF. All birds must be free of any external parasites including lice. Do not overlook these factors as unvaccinated birds and any birds that have external parasites or lice or carriers of salmonella have the potential to jeopardize both your birds as well as everyone else's birds and investments on a shipment. You agree to not have any birds removed from our group once they have been reserved and assigned to our group. You must notify us of a change and or a request for removal of birds at least 14 days prior to ATF's collection/pickup. Limitations of Liability. Avian Export Services is not liable for any mishaps of birds we handle at any time throughout the entire importation process including euthanasia and or shipping. If you have a bird that dies for any reasons you must directly resolve that matter with the original seller of the bird. Most reputable sellers will offer a free replacement or simply refund your purchase. Title 9 Code of Federal Regulations Part 93.106 (a) applies to all birds imported to the USA that test positive for PMV or Avian Influenza. This affects the entire shipment and birds cannot be released from import quarantine if there are any issues with the test results. We are also strictly prohibited from getting involved with any aspects of the buyer/seller transactions of bird acquisitions. Pedigrees for your birds should always be given to ATF or the designated couriers when birds are picked up by ATF or delivered to the ATF facility. We will mail all pedigrees we receive from ATF separately even if we receive those weeks in advance before we receive any birds that come out of import quarantine. By having us import your birds to the USA you AGREE to these terms and conditions of service and accept all the inherent risks associated with importing. You acknowledge and understand how we invoice as well as acknowledge that invoices are always due at the beginning of the importation process. All Import fees are non-refundable but we do issue partial import credits when needed on a case by case basis. EU quarantine fees are non-refundable once birds leave the Netherlands. The importation of your birds is conditional upon your full acceptance to all the terms and conditions applicable to both Animals to fly and Avian Export Services terms and conditions of service from beginning to end. ATF/Animals to Fly is the authorized agent to pick up your birds ONLY IF THE BIRDS ARE PHYSICALLY LOCATED IN THE NETHERLANDS or Neighboring countries that are within +8 hours driving distance of their facility. You are responsible for coordinating and communicating with the Sellers/Breeders/Auction houses throughout Europe regarding the delivery of your birds to ATF if your birds are located outside of the Netherlands. If you prefer to have us import your birds that originate from PIPA you must specifically email them at logistics@pipa.be and request to have us be your authorized importer of your birds. If you purchase any birds from EPA Auctions we are the exclusive USA Agent and USA importer of your birds under contract.
