This group is closed and the birds are currently going through their mandatory 30 days pre export quarantine in the Netherlands. These birds are scheduled to come over to the USA on June 17th.

Our next collection will take place in September with ATF.

All invoices have been generated and sent to you for those birds which belong to this group. These invoices are due now.

Please check your emails and get them paid promptly.

(Group 3- POLAND)

All birds were shipped out yesterday on June 10th.

We will not ship any birds to owners that have any outstanding invoices overdue.

As usual, all birds will be properly fed and watered prior to us boxing the birds. As a courtesy, we will also include some of our small filled water cups in the boxes with the birds for their final delivery to you. These birds should arrive to your place on Thursday, June 12th, but as we all know, some of these shipments lately across the entire USA have been taking longer than usual for USPS Express mail to be delivered.

Please always check the tracking information regularly first, as this is the exact same information we see and have access too, just like you, nothing more and nothing less.

Also, sometimes USPS does not properly scan the packages throughout their entire journey. We have no control over how they handle these packages, or when they get delivered. We will periodically check the status updates on deliveries, but it is ultimately up to USPS to deliver the packages in a timely manner as needed. 

This is a really nice group of birds, and we hope you enjoy them as well.

We have no pedigrees to send out, so if you are missing pedigrees, you need to reach out to the original source in europe,  and ask them about their whereabouts. Sellers in Europe should always send the pedigrees directly to you. Never have the seller give them to a courier, or the quarantine in Europe. This is how they get lost in transport, and end up never getting delivered to you.

Pedigrees? Who exactly is responsible for handling pedigrees?

We are not responsible for tracking down pedigrees from the sellers you acquired your birds from in Europe. While some reputable auction houses like EPA and Herbots do send them directly to us here in the USA, we do forward them on to you as soon as we receive them. Most private sellers in europe though, should not give the pedigrees to the couriers, as they end up getting lost in transportation, missing, etc.  The pedigrees should always be sent directly to you from your seller you acquired your birds from in Europe. This is their responsibility to get them mailed to you here in the USA. Its part of the sales process.....by getting the pedigrees safely delivered to you.

The fewer changing of hands or people involved in the process means the fewer opportunities for missing documents or mistakes.

We currently do not have any pedigrees in our office to send to anyone. If you have not received pedigrees, then please reach out to your seller in europe, and inquire about their whereabouts and location.

The Polish quarantine also has previously mentioned that they DO NOT collect pedigrees from the sellers/brokers in Europe, when they pickup birds for their quarantine. They do not want to deal with pedigrees, as this can be quite time consuming trying to track down, and locate them. 

It is the sole responsibility of the seller/broker you acquire your birds from, to have them mail the pedigrees directly to you, here in the USA. This ensures they do not get lost in the process.

PLEASE NOTE: THE NETHERLANDS IS CURRENTLY THE ONLY COUNTRY THAT HAS A BINDING  AGREEMENT IN PLACE WITH THE USA, THAT REQUIRES BIRDS TO ONLY BE QUARANTINED FOR A MINIMUM OF 30 DAYS, PRIOR TO US BRINGING THEM OVER. THAT AGREEMENT, HOWEVER, MAY CHANGE IN MID 2025, AS IT IS RE-NEGOTIATED BETWEEN BOTH COUNTRIES.

If ATF needs to collect your pigeons outside of The Netherlands,  your fancier/seller needs to arrange an Intra Trade Certificate (TRACER) which is a kind of health certificate for transport within the EU countries. Please advise your fancier/seller to arrange this with their State Vet. Your fancier/seller cannot use a normal Vet to get this health certificate. It must be issued by their State Vet.

This rule only applies when ATF picks up the pigeons and is not needed if your fancier delivers the birds to ATF themselves using a courier that does regular transportation of live animals to The Netherlands. ATF has provided us a list of preferred couriers that can be used if you need assistance with pickup outside of Holland. This is made available to you after you submit our import and reservation form on our website.

ALL BIRDS MUST BE VACCINATED FOR PMV & SALMONELLA x2 PRIOR TO THEM BEING DELIVERED TO ANY PRE EXPORT QUARANTINE FACILITY WE WORK WITH. NO EXCEPTIONS!

ALL BIRDS MUST BE FREE OF EXTERNAL PARASITES, INCLUDING LICE, PRIOR TO BEING DELIVERED TO ANY PRE EXPORT QUARANTINE FACILITY WE WORK WITH. NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

TO SIMPLY THE PROCESS, WE WILL COLLECT ALL THE FEES FOR BOTH THE PRE QUARANTINE/EXPORT SIDE, AND USA QUARANTINE/IMPORT SIDE OF THE PROCESS.

 YOU WILL RECEIVE ONE INVOICE FROM US AS SOON AS THE QUARANTINE HAS STARTED, AND YOU WILL PAY ONLY ONE INVOICE TO US FOR EACH IMPORTATION CYCLE.

 

(WE HAVE A NEW IMPORT CREDIT POLICY MOVING FORWARD, EFFECTIVE NOV 15, 2023)

IMPORT CREDITS MUST BE USED WITHIN ONE YEAR THEY ARE ISSUED. PREFERABLY SAME YEAR ISSUED.

IF YOUR BIRD DIES AT ANY TIME WHILE IN USA IMPORT QUARANTINE, (WHICH IS RARE WITH OUR QUARANTINES) WE WILL OFFER A PARTIAL CREDIT BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF TIME THE BIRD WAS IN QUARANTINE BEFORE EXPIRING. 

THIS PARTIAL CREDIT CAN BE APPLIED TOWARDS A FUTURE IMPORT WITH US.

IF A BIRD DIES WITHIN 7 DAYS OF ARRIVAL TO THE USA WHILE IN IMPORT QUARANTINE = A FULL CREDIT WILL BE HONORED TOWARDS A FUTURE IMPORT.

IF A BIRD DIES WITHIN 14 DAYS OF ARRIVAL TO THE USA WHILE IN IMPORT QUARANTINE = A $225 PARTIAL CREDIT WILL BE HONORED.

IF A BIRD DIES WITHIN 21 DAYS OF ARRIVAL TO THE USA WHILE IN IMPORT QUARANTINE = A $150 PARTIAL CREDIT WILL BE HONORED.

IF A BIRD DIES WITHIN 28 DAYS OF ARRIVAL WHILE IN IMPORT QUARANTINE= A $75 PARTIAL CREDIT WILL BE HONORED.

IF A BIRD DIES WHILE IN TRANSPORT  WITH EITHER USPS OR DELTA CARGO CUSTODY= $0.00 CREDIT AVAILABLE.

WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER HOW THE USPS, OR DELTA CARGO HANDLES THE BIRDS WHILE THEY ARE IN THEIR CUSTODY, AND TRANSPORT TO THEIR FINAL DESTINATION.

PLEASE NOTE: USPS VERY RARELY EVER PAYS OUT ANY INSURANCE CLAIMS FOR MORTALITIES, EVEN IF YOU PURCHASE THEIR INSURANCE WHICH IS OFFERED. THE ONLY TIME THEY WILL PAYOUT A CLAIM UP TO $100 IS IF THE BOX HAS OUTSIDE EVIDENCE OF PHYSICAL DAMAGE CAUSING INJURY OR DEATH TO THE BIRD, OR IF IT TAKES 4 DAYS FOR FINAL DELIVERY OF THE BIRDS TO YOU AND SOME ARRIVE DEAD ON ARRIVAL. THE BIRDS POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE HEAT IS NOT CONSIDERED A FACTOR IN THEIR DECISION AND CLAIMS PROCESS. THIS IS WHY WE NO LONGER SHIP ANY LIVES DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS. ITS SIMPLY NOT SAFE TO DO SO!

526.43 Claims for Adult Birds

Indemnity may be paid only for articles that are lost, damaged, or for missing contents, and not for death of the birds in transit if there is no visible damage to the mailing container. 

The Postal Service will not refund postage if the Priority Mail Express shipment was delivered, or delivery was attempted, within three days of the date of mailing shown in the “Date In” box on Label 11. See DMM 604.9.5.5.

 

IF YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THIS RISK, YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER OUR DELTA CARGO OPTION. USING THIS OPTION THE BIRDS ARE DELIVERED TO YOU THE SAME DAY THEY ARE SHIPPED FROM OUR SLC UTAH LOCATION. AVAILABILITY MAY VARY BASED ON YOUR LOCATION CLOSEST TO A DELTA CARGO HUB.

 

PLEASE NOTE: ALL QUARANTINE AND EXPORT FEES TO THE UNITED STATES FROM EUROPE ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, ONCE THE BIRDS LEAVE THE NETHERLANDS.

 WE NORMALLY BILL ACCORDING TO THE USPS EXPRESS SHIPPING RATES FROM UTAH TO YOUR FINAL DESTINATION. ALL BIRDS ARE ALSO SHIPPED IN BRAND NEW BOXES.

There is a minimum cost of $65 per shipment for a single bird.

WE ALSO SOURCE AND USE "THE MOST PREFERRED LABRATORY ANIMAL BEDDING" SCIENTIFICALLY PROCESSED SINCE 1895, FOR YOUR BIRDS!!!!

AS A KNOWN DELTA SHIPPER, YOU MAY ALSO HAVE US SHIP BIRDS TO YOU VIA DELTA CARGO, IF YOU ARE NEAR AN AIRPORT THAT SERVICES DELTA AIRLINES.

YOU WILL RECEIVE BIRDS THE SAME DAY THEY ARE SHIPPED, WHEN WE USE DELTA AIRLINES.

LESS STRESS ON THE BIRDS, SAFER FOR YOUR BIRDS IN TRANSIT, AND THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE FASTEST ROUTE POSSIBLE FOR DOMESTIC DELIVERY.

THE COSTS FOR US TO SHIP USING DELTA AIRLINES ARE THE FOLLOWING:

4-6 BIRDS WITH NEW WIDOWHOOD IATA APPROVED CRATES $300

7-12 BIRDS WITH NEW WIDOWHOOD IATA APPROVED CRATES $375

13-24 BIRDS WITH NEW WIDOWHOOD IATA APPROVED CRATES $600

25-48 BIRDS WITH NEW WIDOWHOOD IATA APPROVED CRATES $1200

 

Any birds that need to go to Mexico or Hawaii after they complete USA import quarantine will be assessed additional shipping fees, beyond what is charged on the invoices.

Be prepared to pay additional shipping and transportation fees if you reside in Mexico or Hawaii.
